Community Partners International

Our pioneering community based health and education programs serve Burma / Myanmar and its border regions, providing training and global support for local leaders and organizations to strengthen their own communitites. We have partnered with more than 60 local organizations, including the Mae Tao Clinic, the Karen Department of Health and Welfare and the Back Pack health Worker Team, supporting initiatives that build community through health, education, leadership training and mentoring. Together with our partners we have published widely on the vital impact of providing access to malaria control, safe births and maternal care, child immunizations and nutrition and trauma management in Burma's underserved regions.
