Tin Moe Khine lives in Hlaingtharya, an industrial suburb in Myanmar’s commercial capital, Yangon, known for its slums, poverty and deprivation. Facing financial hardship due to Myanmar’s economic crisis, Tin Moe Khine couldn’t afford to pay for health care during her second pregnancy.
Fortunately, a community clinic supported by Community Partners International offered to provide Tin Moe Khine with free prenatal care. The clinic helps dozens of pregnant women like Tin Moe Khine each month, ensuring that they can access healthy pregnancies and safe births.
