Charity Navigator, America’s top independent nonprofit evaluator, has awarded Community Partners International (CPI) a 2023 nonprofit rating of 99% on key nonprofit performance indicators including accountability and finance, culture and community, and leadership and adaptability.

This near-perfect score also marks the 12th consecutive year CPI has earned Charity Navigator’s full Four-Star Rating.

“We are delighted to provide Community Partners International with third-party accreditation that validates their operational excellence,” said Michael Thatcher, President and CEO of Charity Navigator. “The Four-Star Rating is the highest possible rating an organization can achieve. We are eager to see the good work that Community Partners International is able to accomplish in the years ahead.”

CPI empowers vulnerable communities in Myanmar (Burma), Bangladesh, Thailand and Nepal to meet their essential health, humanitarian and sustainable development needs. Founded by U.S. doctors and volunteers in 1998, the organization has grown to serve nearly two million people each year. CPI focuses on communities affected by conflict, violence, and displacement, in remote and hard-to-reach contexts, and marginalized through poverty and exclusion.
