For the 10th consecutive year, Community Partners International (CPI) has received the full 4-star rating for best practice financial stewardship, accountability, and transparency from Charity Navigator, the largest and most utilized independent nonprofit evaluator in the U.S. The rating includes a perfect 100% score for accountability and transparency.
In a letter confirming the rating, Charity Navigator President and CEO Michael Thatcher writes, “Only 3% of the charities we evaluate have received at least ten consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Community Partners International outperforms most other charities in America. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Community Partners International apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.”
In a broader context, of the 1.6 million+ registered nonprofits in the U.S., only 3,647 (0.23%) currently hold a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. That’s one in every 439 organizations.
Commenting on the 4-Star rating, Community Partners International’s Executive Director, Dr. Si Thura, said, “I dedicate this superb achievement to Community Partners International’s supporters, staff, partners, and volunteers worldwide. Through our commitment to excellence, we honor their investment and trust in Community Partners International.” For the full Charity Navigator report on Community Partners International, please visit https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=11663.
